Opinion Writing

Soon we will begin our second writing unit on opinion writing. This is such a fun unit because students learn how to formulate an argument about a topic of their choice! We use the Lucy Calkins Writing Unit 2: Boxes and Bullets. It helps students organize their thoughts and ultimately write an opinion paper.
