March Multiplication Madness

We are about to begin our unit on multiplying two digit numbers by two digit numbers. This is our Common Core Standard 4. NBT.5. Multiplication is one of the most important math skills your student will learn in fourth grade. Please encourage your student to continue learning his/her math facts to help with math fluency!

Read Across America!

Wednesday, March 2nd commemorates Read Across America! In order to celebrate, Mt. Pleasant will have a spirit day each day of the school week t honor reading and the birthday of Dr. Seuss! They are as follows:

• Monday/Cat in the Hat Day: Wear red, black, and white
• Tuesday/Green Eggs & Ham Day: Wear green
• Wednesday/Fox in Sox Day: Wear crazy socks
• Thursday/Oh, The Places You'll Go Day/ Wear a vacation t-shirt
• Friday/There's a Wocket in My Pocket Day: Carry a small stuffed animal in your pocket
